The Ultimate Fall Cleaning Checklist

It’s indoor time once again and the Fall season is just around the corner. Time to do some deep cleaning and prepare your home to be cozier and more relaxing. Who doesn’t want a crisp and fresh home while accommodating guests during holidays?

Here’s your ultimate cleaning checklist

Living Areas

1. Mop the floors
2. Vacuum the carpets
3. Vacuum upholstered sofas and chairs
4. Vacuum under the upholstered sofa and chair cushions.
5. Wipe down your electronics such as TV with a good cleaner
6. Dust windows and blinds
7. Wipe down glass windows and mirrors with a good glass cleaner
8. Vacuum or wash curtains
9. Clean all remote controls
10. Polish all wooden furniture with a wood cleaner
11. Dust plants’ leaves carefully
12. Wash plastic and artificial plants
13. Clean the walls
14. Clean the ceiling, ceiling fan, and mounted light fixtures
15. Replace furnace filters
16. Inspect and sweep the chimneys
17. Vacuum area rugs

Kitchen

1. Wipe your refrigerator
2. Dust off the refrigerator condenser coils
3. Remove and throw away old and expired food inside the fridge
4. Clean under the refrigerator
5. Clean the inside and outside of the oven
6. Clean the microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc.
7. Clean the inside and outside of the dishwasher
